The people in Tanzania were amazing and by far my favorite part of the entire trip. One individual that really stood out was a little boy named to Musa who the cutest smile and was just the friendliest kid I've ever met. He would come around everyday and stand outside the area that we set up wave to me and then come running over to help me with triaging patients. Even though Musa didn't speak any English and I didn't speak any Swahili we were still able to play and hangout everyday as well as form a relationship. This was a really powerful experience for me since neither of us had the same background at all and we different in so many ways but were still able to find things in common and build an impactful connection. I feel truly blessed to have meant Musa and really hope to return back to Tanzania so that I can see who he grows up to be.
