Meeting Overview

Healthcare education is a vital component of global Christian missions—both short-term and long-term—serving as a tangible demonstration of Christ’s love. This session will bring together individuals engaged in or interested in healthcare education as a mission outreach, offering an overview of the existing needs and opportunities to create a library of teaching materials. A panel of representatives from mission organizations will discuss essential educational materials, including faculty development resources, spiritual topics, and clinical guidance. We will have breakout groups to have key conversations which will focus on identifying necessary materials and exploring strategies for organizing and storing them for easy access by educators worldwide. Small group discussions will foster collaboration, allowing participants to share insights and recommendations. Ultimately, this session aims to establish a dedicated task force, uniting various organizations involved in global healthcare education to collaboratively develop a shared library of accessible resources.
