As we consider the commission that Jesus gave his followers, while realizing that over 3,000,000,000 have never heard the name of Jesus, there is too much work to be done for us to not work together.  While there are many ways we are different, we have One God, One Savior, One Spirit, One Body and One Mission.  If we are going to fulfill the Great Commission, we must not only work together, but we also must empower indigenous, national Christ followers to further the Great Commission.  Only by handing the baton off to them will we be able to fulfill this commission.  We must do God’s will, God’s way. When we understand the Mission we have been given, we will understand the only way to accomplish the Great Commission is by doing it together -- across language, culture, national and other boarders with those who love and follow Christ.  The session we are featuring today explores unique ways to partner and empower people around the world.

Family physicians, nurses and primary care providers regularly encounter “extracurricular” situations when practicing in developing countries especially in sexual and reproductive health (SRH) and clinical needs, a “golden platter of opportunities” sort-of-speak. New estimates for 2014 show staggering gaps in SRH and basic clinical services fall far short in developing nations with gaps between countries regions. Yet SRH is significantly underrepresented in medical and nursing education, and in continuing medical education (CME) programs in some developed and most developing countries. Grab your gear for this session will describe clinical, cultural, systems and contextual realities of SRH and clinical unmet needs in developing countries, zooming on the Middle East. You will find out that “you can do it” regardless of your clinical background. This session will introduce you to tools to equip yourself culturally, clinically and from a public health perspective. You will present opportunities for short and long term interventions.

We fool ourselves if we think we can enter the Enemy's territory on behalf of God without thorough spiritual preparation. Potential healthcare missionaries must be grounded in robust spiritual habits of seeking and hearing from God.

Objective of the session is to inform other Medical Missionaries, other doctors and other Missionaries about Evangelism through caring for people living with HIV and AIDS in Zimbabwe.

In this session we'll be talking about discerning the Lord's calling in your life, how to move forward with exploring medical missions and, most of, how to avoid letting educational debt keep you from following God's calling to use your medical skills for His glory!

We hope you enjoy listening to this session from November's Global Missions Health Conference: https://www.medicalmissions.com/resources/16756/task-remaining-for-all-to-hear

Theology is thinking and talking about God and his work in his world. This is God's world and it is filled with poverty. How Christians think about, engage, and talk about poverty is fundamental to who we should be as followers of Christ. We, of all people, need a theology of poverty.

Many times in the missions world, we follow culture by implementing solutions borrowed from others in our same field. But what if we created in such a way that changed our industry? With more than 3.5 billion people living without access to the good news of Jesus, we need to start changing the way we look at solving our challenges. At this session, you will learn a process and tools to bring your God-given creativity to the way that you approach the challenges you face at home, work, or on the missions field.

In this breakout called "For all to hear" we will take a look at the current state of missions and the Gospel worldwide. Where is the church struggling to penetrate? What are some strategies that are being developed to get into those areas? What role can medical professionals play in getting the Gospel to unreached people?
