The Alliance was established in 1887 with the objective to provide gospel access to underserved populations in the U.S. while preparing and sending workers to the least-reached populations around the world. Today, The Alliance numbers more than 24,000 churches in 88 countries as a part of Alliance World Fellowship.
Since sending its first two physicians to China in the late 1800s, healthcare has continued to be a deep value for Alliance ministry, having a significant role in carrying out The Alliance’s vision of All of Jesus for All the World.
In also partnering with other like-minded healthcare organizations such as Samaritan’s Purse World Medical Mission, MedSend, PAACS, and others, it allows for great opportunities to work in strengthening the Body of Christ together!
Our healthcare workers serve in a variety of ministries:
Hospital settings + Surgical training + Church planting + Occupational therapy + Relief and Development + Health coaching
Maternal and prenatal care + Physical therapy + People development + Ophthalmology + And many more
