Families living in poverty deserve access to clean drinking water. And it solves soooo many health issues.

Motivated by the compassion of Christ, Filter of Hope brings clean water to people who are thirsty.

By manufacturing and distributing simple, life-saving water filters, we provide families living in poverty easy access to clean, safe drinking water—up to 250 gallons a day for 10 years. The entire water filter kit fits inside a quart-sized bag and costs just $40 to purchase. For a $50 donation, we’ll deliver a water filter to a family in need and install it on your behalf.

For most families, receiving our water filter means they have clean water in their home for the first time ever.

In 2012, we distributed the first Filter of Hope water filters in the Dominican Republic. Since then, we’ve expanded to 12 additional countries in the Caribbean and Central America. Our partner organizations (like Samaritan's Purse, Convoy of Hope, World Hope, Cru, hundreds of churches and denominational groups, and individuals) have taken our water filters to an additional 56 countries.

1. You can take the filters with you in the work you are already doing (or want to do in the future) in any third-world country. It will add enormous value regardless of your specialty or area of focus.

2. You can donate filters.

3. You can connect us to your church to see if we can help with their goals (missions, youth, children's ministry). We have hand-crafted opportunities that may help.

4. You can travel with us on a Filter of Hope short term mission trip. We design them to fit with your schedule and needs.

Our model is wonderfully unique:

• Our local church partners prepare the neighborhoods and families your team will visit. 

• Trip participants are divided into small groups and paired with a translator and a representative from the church to visit homes.

• You’ll provide families with a water filter, and an opportunity to hear how much God loves them. We also provide Spanish New Testaments for your team to give each family. 

• Our local church partners follow up with the families that your team visits, and disciple those who pray to receive Christ. So your team can have confidence that the ministry they are involved in during their trip is sustainable and continues long after they leave through the work of the local church.
