Lutheran Braille Workers began with a call for German Braille Bibles in the midst of the holocaust. 

Since the early 1940's, LBW has provided the word of God Freely to the Blind around the world. In Braille and specialized Large Print. 

This includes Prisoners', Schools for the Blind in various countries, and under ground church's in unsympathetic regions.
